The CarbonAi platform
CarbonAi’s Ecosystem
Every production event feeds into Field, where it is recorded with its provenance intact. All Field data feeds into Proof, our DMRV engine. All Proof calculations feed into View, where every project can be seen and studied together. Click any node to learn what it is, or step through it below.
A great many sources. One record.Read it from the outside in. Thousands of production events on the rim collapse into Fields, Fields into Proofs, and every Proof into one View. Click any node to see what it is.
Production eventsEvery cookstove, flare, meter, and panel: the physical things being measured. Each one is a source, and every reading it produces carries its time, place, and origin.
FieldOne collection area. It gathers readings from the production events assigned to it, by a person on a device or straight from connected equipment, with the provenance intact.
ProofOne project. It takes every Field beneath it, runs the calculation against the methodology, and keeps the path from each reading to the result open to an auditor.
ViewOne portfolio. It sees every project at once: performance, compliance, and reporting, from a single programme up to a national portfolio, each figure still traceable to its source.
Schematic. Node counts are illustrative, not to scale.
The infrastructure
If the chain of custody does not start at the moment of measurement, it cannot be established later.
Three stages of one continuous chain. Not three products.
Every CarbonAi application produces a figure that someone else has to rely on: a registry, a regulator, a lender, a ministry. The figure is only as strong as the path from the measurement to the report, and every handling step on that path is a place where provenance can break.
The platform removes the handling steps. Data is captured with its provenance at the source, calculated against methodology without leaving the record, and read across the portfolio from that same record. What enters Field is what emerges from Proof and what View displays.
This section is for the visitor who needs to look under the hood: a technical team, a procurement reviewer, a verification body. Each page is written in two layers. The plain layer first, and the technical detail where you ask for it.
Storage tanks at a gas facility. Every application on the platform begins with a physical asset like this one, producing something that someone else has to trust.
Fig. 01The chain
One record, three stages.
01 · Field
Source capture
By a person on a device, online or offline, in a workflow configured for the programme. Field+ extends it to connected meters and equipment with no harvesting step. Every entry carries its time, place, and origin.
02 · Proof
Calculation and verification
Methodology-aligned calculation with the history kept, deviations visible as they occur, and auditor access to the evidence. The outcome can be followed back to the readings that produced it.
03 · View
Portfolio oversight
Performance, compliance, and reporting across every project, configured for whoever has to read it, up to a national portfolio. Each figure keeps its line of sight to source.
| Where provenance is at risk | Separate tools | One platform |
|---|---|---|
| Between capture and calculation | Export, re-key, reconcile. | Nothing. The record moves intact. |
| Between calculation and reporting | Aggregation in a spreadsheet, version by version. | Read from the same record the calculation ran on. |
| When a figure is questioned | Reconstruct the path, if the files still exist. | Follow the path that already exists. |
| Who can see the source | Whoever kept the files. | Whoever the role allows: auditor, financier, ministry. |
Applications on the platform
Each application is the platform, configured for a sector.
The sector decides what is measured and which methodology applies. The chain beneath it is the same in every case.
